We treat every wedding at Ratho Farm as a privilege. Our first wedding was held in 1829, and nearly two centuries later couples still choose this place for its history, landscape and sense of occasion.

Ratho Farm is set in Tasmania’s Central Highlands, just over an hour from Hobart Airport. It’s a place where weddings feel unhurried, personal and deeply connected to the landscape.

Reception Styles

Receptions at Ratho Farm are just as flexible, with past celebrations including:

Complimentary Stay for Interstate Couples

Planning a wedding from outside Tasmania can be difficult without seeing the venue in person. To make that easier, interstate couples are invited to stay one night on site, complimentary, when booking a wedding site visit (subject to availability).

Your visit gives you time to:

  • Experience the property at different times of day
  • Stay overnight and enjoy the atmosphere
  • Discuss layouts, timing and logistics in person
